The official multiplayer servers for Portable 2 and Infinity closed. The only way to with others online is by connecting to other players through a VPN (virtual private network).

This guide will focus on connecting using a VPN generously provided by MightyZack called HunsterVerse. His HunsterVerse VPN is dedicated to allowing PPSSPP users play Monster Hunter games online, but he has allowed us to piggyback on his VPN community to play Phantasy Star Portable 2 and Infinity online! After following the guide, you will be able to play Phantasy Star Portable 2 & Infinity on the PPSSPP emulator with other people around the world using the emulator’s Ad-Hoc mode (aka “lan” / “local wifi” ) and MightyZack's VPN.

(2) Join the Phantasy Star Portable 2 Discord Group, currently one of the largest and most active group of Phantasy Star Portable players with whom to play these games online!
